Slumgullion/Wolf Creek Combo

July 27-Aug 2 · 7 riding days · 422 miles · 6 mountain passes

This is the ultimate week of Colorado for any cyclist. Last year we saw a cougar and mountain goats on North Pass and a lynx near Lake City. We were slowed down waiting for an old fashioned cattle drive near LaManga Pass. Gold prospecting supplies are available at the hardware store in South Fork. Buy fresh buffalo meat at the ranch in Del Norte. If you’re looking for a taste of the old west – this is the area of Colorado you want to ride. It’s one beautiful alpine vista after another with one day of riding through the farmland in the San Luis Valley. A side trip to the alligator farm is possible – yes, in Colorado!

Tour price is $1,250 which includes:

7 nights lodging, starting meeting day – double occupancy (call for single supplement fee)

support vehicle/luggage transport – your bike goes inside the trailer, should you ride the van

3 rest stops a day, with light snacks

written maps, cue sheets, and nightly map meetings

two guides riding at all times – both guides have cycled this route previously

SAG driver/photographer

licensed massage therapist traveling with us – one massage per rider is included

all dinners, some breakfasts included with your lodging

Check out our detailed route description.

Grand Mesa Loop

June 10-13 · 4 days · 231 miles

Kick off your riding season climbing Grand Mesa, the world’s largest flat top mountain. After that challenge, you will be set for the summer! You may have ridden portions of this route before, but as locals, we know the back roads (and the good eating spots!).We are only on highways when there are no other paved options.

Tour price is $630 which includes:

4 nights lodging, starting meeting day – double occupancy (call for single supplement fee)

support vehicle/luggage transport – your bike goes inside the trailer, should you ride the van

3 rest stops a day, with light snacks

written maps, cue sheets, and nightly map meetings

two guides riding at all times – both guides have cycled this route previously

SAG driver/photographer

all dinners, some breakfasts included with your lodging

Check out our detailed route description.

Reverse Grand Mesa Loop

Aug 5-8 · 4 days · 231 miles

We are offering the Grand Mesa route a second time going the opposite direction. It’s fun to see how different the view is going down the ups and up the downs.
